Content description

Rudolf has been researching his favourite composer Mendelssohn Bartholdy for years, even decades. He considers his study to be the best thing he has ever written - only he hasn't written it yet. In a furious monologue, Thomas Bernhard's novel leads us into the epicentre of writer's block, in which man and the world struggle tragicomically with each other. In a staged reading, Manfred Zapatka gives body and voice to another of the Austrian writer's artistic figures after «Minetti».
