RESIDENZTHEATER
You will find two signposted disabled parking spaces directly in front of the theatre entrance. Six wide double doors lead into the Residenztheater. The main entrance is accessible via a wide ramp with a handrail. There is a door opener by the door for the main entrance. The entrance area and the auditorium on the ground floor are step-free. Some doorways within the building do have steps. The theatre is subdivided into an entrance area, an auditorium, a bar on the ground floor and a bar on the first floor. The lower theatre foyer, the foyer buffet and a disabled washroom are all fully accessible. There is a toilet suitable for wheelchair users. Access to the seats in the rear stalls including four wheelchair places is at ground level. Our front of house staff will guide visitors to their places upon request. A rollator may be left outside the auditorium. In the entrance area (foyer) benches without backs are available as seating. In the bar «Zur Schönen Aussicht» chairs and tables can be repositioned if necessary.
You can find an overview of disabled access to the building here.

The Marstallplatz has a gate, which can be opened by ringing for the porter. Your vehicle can then be parked directly on the Marstallplatz, from which access to the theatre foyer and the auditorium is at ground level. REDUCTIONS FOR VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES
Persons with disabilities are entitled to the same discounts at all the Bavarian State Theatres on presentation of relevant disabled ID (in German: «Schwerbehindertenausweis»). In order to qualify for these, the disabled ID must be marked with one of the codes EB, Bl, VB or B. For persons with ID marked code B their companion is entitled to a 100% reduction, while the ID holder pays the regular price. Reduced price subscriptions can be ordered in writing with a copy of the disabled ID through the subscription office of the Bavarian State Theatres (Bayerische Staatstheater). For all reduced prices, a processing fee of 2 Euro per ticket will be charged on orders made in writing or by phone. Please note that these reductions only apply to buying tickets and it is not possible to combine different categories. Reduced price tickets are only valid in combination with the ID that justifies the reduction. If the ID cannot be produced, an additional sum must be paid to make up the full ticket price.
WHEELCHAIR USERS
Wheelchair users are given free admission (for ID generally marked with code B or aG). A seat can be booked for a companion at a 50 % reduction. The wheelchair places are marked ♿ on the seating plans.
Places for wheelchair users are to be found in the Residenztheater stalls, at the right and left ends of rows 16 + 17. Companions sit in the stalls in rows 16 + 17 in seats 441, 442, 465 and 466. In the Cuvilliéstheater, the places are found in the stalls at the right and left ends of row 12. Their companions sit in row 12 of the stalls in seats 155 + 156. In the Marstall there is one wheelchair place. Please reserve your wheelchair place in good time by phone on 089 2185 1940, by email to tickets@residenztheater.de or by post to: Residenztheater – Tageskasse – Postfach 100155, 80075 München.
