Eva Gouda hat an der Hochschule der Künste Utrecht «Writing for Performance» studiert und schreibt und arbeitet seither für verschiedene (Kinder- und Jugend-)Theater. Zudem hat sie «Comedy Writing» in New York studiert und den Studiengang «Künstler im Klassenzimmer» an der Hochschule der Künste Amsterdam abgeschlossen. In ihrer Arbeit überträgt sie gesellschaftliche Themen auf unterhaltsame Weise ins (Jugend-)Theater – mit einem scharfen Blick und viel Humor.
Ihre Arbeit wurde für den Prix Europa und den Zilveren Reissmicrofoon nominiert. 2023 gewann ihr Stück «Puppolismus (POPpulisme)» den «Gouden Krekel» für die beeindruckendste Jugendtheaterproduktion der Saison und 2025 den «Vertaalprijs» (Übersetzungspreis) 2024.

Eva Gouda studied «Writing for Performance» at the Utrecht School of the Arts and has since been writing and working for various (children’s and youth) theatres. She also studied «Comedy Writing» in New York and completed the «Artists in the Classroom» programme at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. In her work, she translates social issues into (youth) theatre in an entertaining way – with a sharp eye and plenty of humour.
Her work has been nominated for the Prix Europa and the Zilveren Reissmicrofoon. In 2023, her play «POPpulisme» won the «Gouden Krekel» for the most impressive youth theatre production of the season, and in 2025, she won the «Vertaalprijs» (Translation Prize) 2024.
