Michael Wolffsohn: Genius and Conscience – The Karajan Case

In his book »Genius and Conscience«, published this spring, the historian Michael Wolffsohn re-examines the much-debated role of the conductor Herbert von Karajan during the Nazi era. For the Residenztheater and the Bavarian State Opera, he has adapted the material into a discursive text for three narrators, supplemented by musical excerpts and video footage.
