Erica D'Amico
Erica D’Amico absolvierte eine Tanzausbildung an der Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rom und der Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in München.
2019 wurde Erica Teil der Company von Johannes Haertl für dessen Produktion «Silent Water». Seitdem hat sie mit dem Choreographen Dustin Klein in verschiedenen Opernproduktionen zusammengearbeitet, darunter an der Hamburgischen Staatsoper, bei den Salzburger Festspielen und an der Bayerischen Staatsoper. 2019 hat sie außerdem ihr Solostück «Second Daughter» beim HIER=JETZT Festival in München uraufgeführt.
Als freischaffende Künstlerin war Erica an mehreren Produktionen für Choreographen wie Anna Konjetzky, Johanna Richter, Matteo Carvone, Roberta Pisu, Giovanni Insaudo und Cristina D'Alberto beteilgt. Außerdem verbindet sie eine lange Zusammenarbeit mit dem Haus der Kunst, so hat sie an Aufführungen wie z. B. «Shifting Perspectives» von Franz Erhald Walther, «Cyber MOVes» von David Russo, «MEMORANDUM OR VOYAGE» des japanischen Kollektivs Dumb Type und «Mirror Piece I&II» im Rahmen der Ausstellung von Joan Jonas Ausstellung, teilgenommen.

The young American Clifford Bradshaw is caught up in this intensely sensual world. Yet, at the same time, something dark is becoming an ever-stronger presence in the daily lives of these exuberant fun-lovers.

In poetic images and with moving music, the ensemble of actors, dancers and singers tell a drama about the unfulfilled love of Hans Christian Andersen's unfulfilled love and how the famous fairy tale writer fairy tale poet merges with one of his most famous characters, the the little mermaid. Andersen's escape from reality becomes a touching, visually stunning theatre event.
