Anima Henn lebt als freischaffende Künstlerin in München. Als Kind studiert sie als Jungstudentin klassisches Ballett an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in München und steht bereits in jungen Jahren mit dem Bayerischen Staatsballett auf der Bühne. Sie tanzt in Balletten wir «Le Corsaire», «La Bayadere» und «Dornröschen». Mit 11 Jahren entdeckt sie den zeitgenössischen Tanz und wechselt auf die «Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance», auf der sie mit einem Stipendium von «Kids Unlimited Trust» mit 16 Jahren die Ausbildung beginnt und 2017 mit einem Diplom als Bühnentänzerin abschließt. Als freischaffende Tänzerin arbeitet sie seither in verschiedenen Bereichen.
Sie tanzt für Choreographen wie Stephan Herwig, Sebastian Zuber, Alina Belyagina, Victor Rottier und kollabierte mit dem freischaffenden Zirkus Verein «PepeArts». Außerdem tanzte sie unter anderem in Opern-Produktionen von Adam Cooper und Stefano Poda. Mit eigener choreografischer Arbeit stieß sie bereits auf internationale Resonanz und wurde mit ihren Kurzstücken auf Festivals wie dem «MASH - Jerusalem International Dance Festival» und «Choreograph Competition» (Israel), «Fete de la Danse Neuchâtel» (Switzerland) und «SANSKAR Festival» (India) gezeigt. 2023 gewann sie die Debütförderung im Bereich Tanz um ein erstes abendfüllendes Stück zu entwickeln. In der Coronazeit entwickelte sie Tanzfilme, die für das «SANSKAR VIRTUAL Festival»ausgewählt und 2023 bei dem «La Machine Festival» (Costa Rica) präsentiert wurden.

One stormy night in 1836, Hans Christian Andersen arrives uninvited at the home of his childhood friend Edvard Collin, who is to marry his fiancée Henriette the next day. Andersen has travelled through the wind and the rain to once again confess his love for Edvard. The family provide a frosty reception and the groom himself is out celebrating his last night as a bachelor. Only Henriette feels attracted to the unconventional charm of their guest, who lives in a fantasy world continually surrounded by characters from his own fairy tales. He magically transforms a sober room into a sparkling underwater landscape and castles of otherworldly beauty. And he starts telling his friend’s fiancée the fairy tale of The Little Mermaid: burning with love for a Prince, she wishes to become human and is willing to sacrifice her voice and her home to do so – risking her life.
